Overview Aarong is a series of departmental stores which specializes in stylish and modern clothing for men, women and children. It is owned by non-profit development agency BRAC. The organization started its operation in 1078. Aarong operates production units in rural and semi-urban areas as a part of its social enterprise model and provides the market linkage through its own retail outlets. Being one of the biggest fashion houses in Bangladesh, Aarong fashion designers have to take part in a lot of meetings with the producers. They were facing a lot of difficulties managing the meetings so they reached out to DCASTALIA for help in this regard. We worked closely with Aarong and developed Kiosk, an app that solves all the problems that arise regarding management of meetings. The app generates a ticket then the meeting is arranged when the serial of the ticket holder comes up in a queue.

Being one of the biggest fashion houses in Bangladesh, Aarong fashion designers have to take part in a lot of meetings with the producers. They were facing a lot of difficulties managing the meetings so they reached out to DCASTALIA for help in this regard.

To overcome the situation we build an application that includes both mobile and web to manage the long queue. In the mobile app, the executive can view on his handheld device how many meetings he has pending on a specific day. He will set meetings based on the queue that was generated by the kiosk. When an executive presses the call button, an alert will be sent to both the Kiosk and the user’s phone. If a meeting call is not answered within a specific time-frame, the executive can cancel the meeting and the user will have to generate a new token again. The executive can set the meeting start and end time. After the meeting is over, the executive will select whether the meeting was successful or not. Backend Admin has the authority to create executives, teams, and services. After these have been created, an executive can be assigned to specific teams. The teams are assigned to specific services. Team Leaders can also be assigned to each team. Admin can also create new counters which can serve a specific team. An executive can be assigned a task individually by the admin. Admin has the final authority to approve the schedule for an executive. Reports can be generated based on meeting duration, successful meeting token generation rates, service-wise success reports. These reports can be viewed on a specific date range.We worked closely with Aarong and developed Kiosk, an app that solves all the problems that arise regarding the management of meetings.
